Q. How did you get my name, e-mail address and telephone number?
A. From either wedplan.net or ourweddingday.com where you registered and provided your contact information expressing interest in videography and/or still photography services.
Q. What is your videotaping experience?
A. I have been a Wedding Videographer for the past 20 years. I am experienced in ALL faiths and cultures. I am a freelance professional, not a company. You and your family, friends and guests will be treated with personable professional courtesy and with your comfort in mind as if you were my own family.
Q. Can you meet with us? Where are you located? Do you service our area?
A. I would love to meet with you both in person. If feasible for you, you may come to my studio or if you prefer I will come meet with you in the comfort of your home (within reasonable driving distance) My studio is in Middletown, NJ 07748 (Exit 117 on the Garden State Parkway)I service: ALL of NJ and ,NY, Eastern PA (Philadelphia and surrounding areas) and Western CT (between Stamford and Milford) within a 2 hour driving radius.
Q. We are on a very strict budget. What are your rates & terms?
A. Believe me I understand being on a tight budget in current difficult times especially with the cost of weddings. My packages are very affordable - with optionalextended payment terms - and more services for your dollar. Deposit ($100) with signed agreement reserves and guarantees your wedding date.
Half balance is due on your wedding date and the remaining balance is due 30 days later.
Would you like to save an extra $50.00? - You may do so by paying me in full one week before your wedding or on your wedding day and deduct $50.00 for doing so.
However, this is strictly optional, not a requirement.
Q. Are you fees negotiable?
By all means shop around and compare...and you should. If you find a better offer but would prefer to hire me please let me know. I will work with you within reason to be within your budget in order to earn your hiring consideration. But if your wedding is at The Oheka Castle with 500 guests, caviar, lobster champagne, a 15 piece orchestra and the New York City Radio City Music Hall Dancing Rockettes...please don't expect any special pricing consideration (unless I can take one of the Rockettes home with me LOL)
Q. How many hours do your packages include?
A. I book by the event. No hours limit - I arrive early and stay until your event has truly concluded
Q. Do you charge for travel fees or any extra fees?
A.Travel fees - absolutely not! (Those who do is so tacky) You pay only for the package you choose plus a mandatory 7% sales tax and that's it, period!
Q. Who will videotape our wedding?
A. I will personally videotape your wedding. I never contract my work out to others. In the event I were seriously ill or physically unable, your wedding would be videotaped by one of my professional experienced videographer associates.
Q. Are you non-obtrusive? Will you accommodate our personal preferences?
A. Absolutely - no offensive lighting - no microphones shoved in peoples faces.
This is YOUR wedding and I will accommodate your wishes exactly.
Q. Can I see the quality of your work?

Q. What equipment do you use and do you shoot in HD?
A. I use state of the art professional SONY camcorders designed specifically for social event videography. High quality digital standard definition.
I do NOT shoot in HD (yet) truthfully because the majority of my clients do not own blue ray HD dvd players and the few who do...most of their grandparents, parents, siblings, relatives DO NOT, thus the copies have to be made in standard definition anyway.
Q. Do you do interviews at tables? We don't want our family and guests imposed upon.
A. Absolutely NOT. Doing so indeed imposes on people on the spot, with other people staring at them and perhaps sitting with people they don't know that well and with the loud reception music and ambient noise...you can't hear what they are saying. THEY can't hear themselves speaking.
I have a second camera set up in a quiet , private, comfortable location. You get to tell me in advance whom you would like me to interview and I let them know beforehand so they have time to gather their thoughts. This way you get the nicest well thought out interviews which will have tremendous sentimental value in years to come.
Q. What are your preferred methods of payment?
A. Your personal check is acceptable for your deposit but I politely request that balances be paid in the form of either cash, bank check or money order. Sorry, but no credit cards, no paypal, no personal checks will be accepted for balances due.
Q. What about editing? Is it included with my package?
Editing is a separate optional service requiring 25-35 hours at an editing console.
Your wedding will be videotaped and camera-edited during the event, in documentary style.
You will receive a Sneak Preview DVD (the total unedited raw footage)
After viewing it you may wish to have it edited.
Editing will consist of:
Wedding Event Titles & Scene Chapter Selections
Scene Modification (as per your feedback)
Fade Ins, Fade Outs, Transitions between scenes
Highlight (Recap) segment set to music of your choice with select scenes in black and white, slow motion and simple effects.
This optional package is $395.00 and may be purchased at any time, before or within 60 days after your wedding.
